The SmartCover^® is a self contained, wireless level monitoring system with patent pending instant alarming and historical data logging capabilities.

In addition to the high water level alarming capability of the SmartCover^® system, intrusion detection is an important feature of the system  Intrusions – caused by vandals, unauthorized contractors, illegal dumping or thieves -  are detected at the manhole or any other point of entry.  This is achieved using four acceleration sensors and a patent pending computational algorithm.  The SmartCover^® unit will send an intrusion alarm to emergency personnel when a disturbance occurs at the point of entry, providing sufficient time for response or mitigation.
